Bree Gallagher, Ph.D., is assistant editor for the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Her background in journalism and academia includes stints at U.S. News & World Report, Roll Call, Oregon Public Broadcasting, and The Open University in Belfast. The author of The Great Reimagining: Public Art, Urban Space, and the Symbolic Landscapes of a ‘New’ Northern Ireland, she has published numerous articles on the intersection of spatial politics, art, and identity. When her nose isn’t in a book, you’ll find Bree dancing and road-tripping her way through life.
